The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a globally recognized business degree and a valued qualification for future managers and business leaders. The objective of MBA is to educate students in various aspects of business and management. The practical preparation enriches the knowledge and creates an aspiration to excel into highly successful managers.

Objectives

The MBA Program is designed to equip its graduates with the skills, abilities, and knowledge that will enable them to take up positions of higher responsibility in the execution field. However the course has the following specific objectives:

To prepare young managers committed to profession, professional ethics and values.
To provide hands on training to students through industry-institute interaction.

Intake
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria for admission to B. Arch. course are as per prevalent rules of Shivaji University and Government of Maharashtra.
1. (1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate, All India Candidature
  Candidate, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of
  Ladakh Migrant Candidate. –
  (i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;
  (ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or as
  declared by appropriate authority, from time to time;
  Or
  (ii) Passed (10+3) Full time Diploma examination recognized by All India Council
  for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institution
  or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject or as
  declared by appropriate authority, from time to time;
  (iii) The Candidate should have obtained qualifying marks in NATA;
  (iv) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as
  defined under the Act.
  (2) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign
  National. –
  (i) Passed HSC or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or as
  declared by appropriate authority, from time to time;
  Or
  (i) Passed (10+3) Full time Diploma examination recognized by All India Council
  for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institution
  or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject or as
  declared by appropriate authority, from time to time;
  (ii) The Candidate should have obtained qualifying marks in NATA;
  (iii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as
  defined under the Act.
Curriculum
Teaching And Assessment Methods

A mixture of teaching methods is used, including lectures, group work, guided reading, case study analysis, Role plays, Seminar presentations etc. Student performance is assessed through both Internal Assessment and Semester End Examinations as per the norms of the Shivaji University, Kolhapur. However, Internal Assessment Marks will be based on assignments / tests / oral examinations and seminar conducted in respective subjects. All the candidates shall undertake a project of ten weeks duration at the end of the third semester and before commencement of the fourth semester. The project should have industry orientation and the work should be certified by the concerned organization where the student has undertaken the project.
